Summer Fun

Here's a picture from a couple weeks ago from our camping trip with some of our friends. Grace is with her friend Samuel Payne. They were too cute playing in the vehicle togther.

Back to our recent time off in the Smokies. We set up a family picture in our cabin. We had a very nice time. Grace definitly got more out of this year's vacation than last year. She did however ask if we could go back to Mommy & Daddy's house several times during the week. We didn't ever think about her getting homesick.

Funny story about putt putt that night is as we were paying I heard someone beside me say, "how are you doing Mr. Meyer". I looked up to see one of my friends from work who I shared on office with for several months! 8 hours from home, amongst countless thousands of people on a street with a dozen putt putt places and we run into the person I shared an office with who I had no idea would be down there.... what are the odds?
A golf legend is born.

Grace posing along a hiking trail to a waterfall.

The wave pool was a lot of fun. Too many people, but that's what we get for going on vacation on the Fourth of July week. Grace giggled the entire time (well....except for the few times when she was screaming from getting splashed in face too hard - but mostly giggling.)

Dad get's to ride all of the "kiddie" slides. Not enough water to push an adult down the slide so every parent taking their small kids down end up "paddling" their way down.

WoW! What an awesome vacation. That cabin seems beautiful. We should definitely be vacation buddies next year!

The grass in the background of the first photo looks suspiciously like Bristol grass to me. We were expecting oreopalooza '08 photos/stories from you and/or Paynes. What's up?

The pictures look like you had a great time on vacation! I like the wave-pool pictures! I'm glad you had an opportunity as a family to get away and relax together.

she doesn't look real happy that Samuel is driving. He's learning from me though.
