Update 3
Ron's cranial pressure has returned to safer levels. This has allowed the doctors to begin to reduce the amount of seditives he is on in order to coax him out of his coma. The nurse last night did catch him open his eyes once and quickly close them back up. The theory is that he is in too much pain to remain concious at this point, but it gives us hope that he is fighting to come back to us. We are cautiously optimistic, but the doctors continue to remind us that there is a long way to go. Thank you for all the prayers, calls, and notes of encouragement. They mean more than you can ever know. And of course keep praying. Our hope is that God has much more in store for Ron's life.
